Position Overview:

Our client is in a leading Carpet Manufacturer. The candidate selected will interact with business stakeholders and engineers to develop software solutions to enhance and improve Clients’s manufacturing operations. The candidate will be involved in planning, designing, developing, documenting, and troubleshooting web and desktop-based applications. The candidate will participate in teams to explore emerging technologies in the fields of IoT, computer vision, rapid prototyping, and robotics.

Position Requirements:

· 4 year degree in Computer Science or related Engineering Field
· 2+ years’ experience developing software solutions
· Experience with two or more of the following technologies: ASP.Net, C#, WPF, WCF, MVC, Web API, JavaScript
· Knowledge of software development principles and design patterns
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
· Ability to accept and promote change in a continually improving organization
· Ability to work well with others and work effectively as part of a team

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with two or more of the following technologies: HTML, CSS, SQL, Entity Framework, LINQ, Asp.Net Core
· Knowledge of UML and software architecture
· Knowledge of relational database concepts
· Understanding of networking principles
· Basic understanding of industrial controls, PLC’s, and OPC
· Experience working as part of a team
· Experience working in a manufacturing environment
