SQL Reporting Developer Loc: La Crosse, WI

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As an SQL Reporting Developer, you will work with business owners and subject matter experts on data requirements and validation, building queries to extract data with SQL Server Management Studio, and creating and testing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • The analyst will enable management to make sound business decisions informed by accurate, congruent, and reliable information.
Additional duties include:

  • Responsible for creating new reports and updating existing reports.
  • Prepare requirements specifications.
  • Prepare report summary documentation when new reports are published.Assist with projects that include a reporting component.
  • Manage pipeline of open report requests and deliver reports on time.
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The ideal candidate is one who exhibits strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Candidates should have sound judgment and the ability to make decisions based upon analysis.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills are important in this role.
Additional qualifications include:

  • 3 years experience required in SQL programming and report writing
  • 4 year college degree with major in Information Systems, Computer Science, or other related fieldPrevious financial services experience desired but not required
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelExperience using SQL Server Management Studio
  • Ability to write complex queries using Microsoft SQL ServerExperience creating reports in SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Ability to collaborate with both technical and business staff
  • Ability to present information and relevant summaries to all levels of the organization
