Job Description
- As part of the IT Technical team, this position will work with the OBIEE team in maintaining and extending the OBIEE 11G / OBIA 7.9.6.4 environment to meet business needs.
- The developer will be involved in all layers of OBIEE and informatica from extracting the data from various source systems through creating reports and dashboards.
- Design and implement the integration of Oracle and Custom data sources with the OBIEE data warehouse using Informatica and ODIBuild the reporting metadata layer and reports
- Perform technical root cause analysis and outline corrective action for given problemsUnderstand and adhere to OBIEE and OBIA best practices
- Estimate level of effort, evaluate design options, and offer suggestions to improve performance of ETL and RPD developmentWork collaboratively and professionally with other associates in cross functional teams
- Produce and review product and/or application documentation for technical accuracyProvide periodic task progress through team meeting environment or through web-based task management
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written with both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Excellent problem solving/analytical skills with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure and to efficiently handle multiple priorities simultaneously#LI
Skills And Experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 to 7 years experience with:ETL/Data Integration using InformaticaWriting, editing, and tuning Oracle SQLModifying / Enhancing the OBIEE RPDDevelopment of complex OBIEE Dashboards, Answers, and DeliversKey metrics and reports included in the packaged Oracle BI Applications: Manufacturing, Projects, Financials, Procurement and Spend, HR, Supply Chain and Order Management, ServiceStar Schema Design and Data Modeling
- Experience with any of the following is a plus:ODIBI PublisherInstallation / Upgrade of OBIEE / OBIA environments
- Experience working in a Sarbanes-Oxley environment
