Successful candidates will:
- Possess advanced problem solving and analytical skills.Be able to identify the underlying issue when presented with sometimes confusing and/or contradictory information.
- Be effective communicators with internal and external customers who possess various levels of technical knowledge.Quickly solve/determine problems working with technical/non-technical groups in areas that may not be primary area of expertise.
- Participate with the data team, and may lead, on various reporting and systems projects.
- Own the development and ongoing maintenance/enhancements of business reporting systems.
- Analyze business requirements, review existing systems or solutions, define the solution, and translate that into detailed programming designs.
- Take detailed programming designs and perform the development required to translate them into efficient and accurate code, thoroughly test solutions that have been developed, and coordinate the migration and implementation of reporting components.
- Design, develop, test and implement scheduled report deliveries, utilizing automated delivery capabilities.
- Successful candidates will have:Strong SQL/Reporting/Query Skills .Production experience developing reporting solutions/applications (Crystal Reports, SSRS, etc.).
- Familiarity with .NET is preferred.To be successful at Western Paper, you need to be:
