  • Providing a 24 x 7 on call support for the operations infrastructure.
  • Monitoring systems, databases and networks for proper operation and performance.
  • Providing an escalation point when any customer issues might be related to the operational environment.
  • Establishing standard processes for diagnosing issues, tracking status and escalating issues within and outside the group.
  • Establish/manage a 24 x 7 automated monitoring system.
  • This role works directly with key customer contacts, as well as customer support, and engineering groups to address any customer issues and must work to maintain availability of applications and to ensure that we meet our Service Level agreements.
  • Establishing product and process improvement plans to reduce support effort and increase product availability and deployment using technologies.
  • Establishing and maintaining support processes and product, environment and process improvements that allow improved support productivity and eliminate repetitive problems and issues.
  • The candidate is expected to be self-motivated, proactive and solution-oriented.
  • Hands on and able to both coach and mentor others in their diagnosis and root cause analysis technique, while also directly leading the troubleshooting efforts for complex systems.
  • This position deals directly with customers and vendors at various levels of the organisation, and as mission critical for our customers, at times needs to work extended hours and under considerable time pressure in order to successfully resolve issues.
  • This role involves technical implementation and cross-functional collaboration to meet the business goals in a fast-paced environment.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in any or all of the following: EDI management, data management, business analytics, online operations, website management.
  • Good project management skills, with proven ability to make progress on multiple projects/issues simultaneously.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability for issues in complex environments, with a proven ability to pursue multiple possible causes and/or solutions in parallel.
  • Strong English language proficiency with troubleshooting ability for issues in complex environments, with a proven ability to pursue multiple possible causes and/or solutions in parallel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Experience in communication with and providing status at various levels of an organization both internally and externally.
  • Must be able to present and discuss technical information to technical audiences and also be able to summarize key points and actions for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with using tracking tools to monitor open cases and current workload, identify trends and eliminate repetitive and future problems.
  • A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is required.
