Business Intelligence Developer LOC:Tempe, AZ
- The Day to Day Fully understand the data in data warehouse and leverage Business Intelligence tools to create standard reports, dashboards and other components for end users.
- Work with Datawarehouse Team to build Business Intelligence tables using popular DW methodologies like Star and Snow Flake schema, Ralph Kimball and Bill Inmon approach, Dimensional Modeling, and/or BIDW Lifecycle.
- Work with SAP Business Objects, Web Intelligence, Business Objects Designer, and Business Objects Xcelsius.
- Tableau, Klipfolio, database and RDBMS platforms, including Oracle and SQL Servers.
- Work with different functional units of the business to understand their reporting needs, on-board new recruits, provide training and Business Intelligence guidance.
- Understand business challenges in terms of reporting across the organization and work on standardizing and automation.
- Work with Business to understand their reporting and Dashboarding needs and leverage the Business Intelligence Platform to deliver end results.
- Work with Business Intelligence Administrator and Architect to leverage existing Business Intelligence tools and bring value to business including writing SQL queries, Database Analytical Functions, In-line Queries, Sub-Queries, table joins, and aggregate functions and creating reports and Dashboards.
- Work with Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) team to help build the Business Intelligence tables.
- Enhance existing Business Intelligence framework by leveraging/creating Single Sign On, SharePoint Integration, Advanced Reporting, deploying reports on Mobile devices.
- Participate in end user training to better use the existing Business Intelligence Infrastructure.
- Are We a Match A Bachelors degree or the foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business or Technology, plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in an Operational Business Intelligence occupation.
- The required experience must have included 5 years of experience creating dashboards for end users; 5 years of experience working with SAP Business Objects, Web Intelligence, Business Objects Designer, and Business Objects Xcelsius; 5 years of experience working with database and RDBMS platforms, including Oracle and SQL Servers; 5 years of experience writing SQL, Database Analytical Functions, In-line Queries, Sub-Queries, table joins, Aggregate functions; 5 years of experience working with Datawarehouse and Business Intelligence fundamentals such as Star and Snow Flake schema design, Ralph Kimball and Bill Inmon approach, Dimensional Modeling, or BIDW Lifecycle; 3 years experience of working with an ETL team to help build the Business Intelligence tables; and, 1 year of experience working with Tableau and Klipfolio.
