Location:Linthicum, MD
  • Participate as a core member of the IT Enterprise Architecture Team:To perform reviews, to assess solution approach, gain acceptance of solution, and ensure decisions are made and deviations from standards are properly identified and addressed.
  • Escalate to the Executive Director of IT Services, Planning & Delivery, and the Directors of Infrastructure, Application Delivery and Enterprise Architecture when needed.Inform stakeholders of domain Solution Architecture review outcomes.
  • Manage the schedule of reviews that need to take place for projects that are in progress.Ensure that the application development, database, and IT Architecture interests are taken into account and engagement with the respective architects occurs for all solutions.
  • Ensure that all individual segment and solution architecture artifacts and changes are documented as per process standards and stored in the segment architecture library to facilitate compliance, organization, and access.
  • Coordinate with other IT domains for project solution architecture.Manage the portfolio of service providers and participate in the projects related to the segment architecture.
  • Monitor solutions performance and availability; report results and trends to IT executive management team Manage and continuously improve the design and implementation of the Segment and Solution Architecture processes and artifacts.
  • Responsible for guidance on High Level Solutions approach and overall Enterprise Solution Architecture patterns.
  • Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed7+ years of direct support and design experience in SAP enterprise system infrastructure and application components, minimally SAP ECC, SAP BASIS, HANA, SAP Net weaver, Fiori and UI5.
  • Experience in other SAP technologies is helpful.Strong fundamentals of enterprise class database management Exposure to multiple, diverse business systems, technologies, and processing environments.
  • Experience with ERP, Sales, Service, Marketing, and Warehousing systems a plus.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of enterprise information architecture.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Excellent planning, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to understand the long-term (\"big picture\") and short-term perspectives of situations.
  • Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements.Ability to estimate the financial impact of individual solution architecture alternatives.
  • Ability to define multiple solution options to business problems.
  • Basic knowledge of information principles and policies.Understanding of application development methodologies.
  • Understanding of SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, or client/server systems, enterprise rich internet applications, B2B, B2C.Demonstrated project leadership on highly complex, technical projects.
