Job Type: Contract

Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developers for a 6 month contract engagement with strong possibility of extension or even becoming permanent.
Qualified candidates will be a part of a team of 7-8 Oracle PL/SQL Developers who are working on a variety of new applications to replace existing legacy systems.
The development is primarily back-end development to support front-end, user interfacing applications written in Java on a Spring framework.
All development is being done in a Rapid Application Development (RAD) environment.
Environment: Fast paced, Constant new development of different applications, Client is not on the "bleeding edge" but are constantly moving to new technology, Developers work as a part of a team but get their own projects, Great team environment where developers can be very innovative; developers can be creative and use new approaches and technologies as long as they stay within the clients existing framework
Constantly push the envelope regarding process improvement; always trying new things and working to develop new and improved processes

Responsibilities:

Work as a part of the team to develop new back-end Oracle PL/SQL applications and complex queries
Work with management and the Oracle Team Lead to design software solutions
Work with the team and Oracle Team Lead to QA applications for production release
