Job description
- Summary The primary purpose of this job is to oversee with the architecture, design, implementation, and daily operational management of the Network performance management, System performance management, Application performance management (APM) and Business transaction management (BTM) systems, infrastructure and related application servers.

- Interface with developers and team members for capacity and architecture planning
- Ensure monitoring coverage for applications and proactively monitor and manage the health of applications/systems; responsible and accountable for driving the root cause and ensuring all issues are addressed and resolved in a timely fashion.
- Provide availability and performance monitoring for all Network, Infrastructure Hardware & Software, Applications and Business systems.
- Maps key business drivers and performance indicators to IT systems and metrics.
- Works with IT Architects, Developers and Operations teams to map architectures and critical processes for monitoring and reporting systems.
- Leverages their strong understanding of ITIL and ITSM best practices to report on key IT health indicators Collaborates with IT Operations teams to establish critical metrics, thresholds and alerts for monitoring and reporting Configures and administers Network and Application Monitoring Systems to meet the requirements of the IT Operations team.
- Establish related monitoring standards, processes and best practices Perform complex technical work to accomplish tasks and projects within a defined time frame.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Information Systems or a related field is required.
- Minimum of five (5) years\' of experience in application monitoring systems deployment, customization and administration is required.
- Minimum of five (5) years\' of experience in complex integration, planning, design experience with enterprise application performance monitoring systems and infrastructures is required.
- Minimum of two (2) years\' of experience with regular expressions, shell scripting, and scripting languages such as Ruby, Python, Perl, etc. preferred.
