Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years hand on development experience with SAP Sybase ASA environment
- Strong knowledge of Sybase SQL Anywhere
- Proficient with CentOS 7 Linux
- Strong knowledge in performance tuning and workflow automation via stored procs/triggers
- Understanding of Agile and Continuous Integration methodologies
- Technical understanding of HIPAA and HITECH compliance requirementsAdded Plus For Any Of The Following
- Understanding of JDBC communication (specifically with a Java-based Tomcat webapp)
- Experience with database migrations from other platforms (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
- Familiarity with data integration/exchange platforms like Mirth Connect
- Knowledge of Sybase SQL Anywhere On-Demand EditionJob Description
- Responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of complex project modules
- Collaboration with vendors, designers and support staff on procedures related to new or existing databases/features
- Develop automation scripts to improve platform efficiency
- Debugging the code and tuning the performance of stored procedures and SQL queries for performance improvement of the system
- Preparing Technical design documents, independently reviewing the code and gathering project requirements
- Preparation of training material for support staff on all new functionality
