Role:Director of IT Infrastructure
Location:Miami,FL
- Overall infrastructure vision (e.g., private / public / hybrid cloud, vendors / partners)Management of a colocation data center as well as migrating applications to the cloud as required Design, rollout & scheduled test of a DR site Management of internal server & storage infrastructure team Management of a network & telecommunication team Providing overall Infrastructure and IT leadership for the company
- Outlining and communicating IT policies and procedures Provide input on operating as well as capital budgets and tightly managing actuals Purchasing of assets, tracking of expenditures, and ensure all licensing is sufficiently in place Identifying technology training needs and recommending and implementing plans to address Identifying opportunities to leverage technology to increase employee productivity and/or reduce costs Managing contracts for support and services
- Work closely with third parties and partners to understand how Spirit might shape the future of passenger processing technology solutions that drive reduced costs
- Ensure consistency and use of best practices in design and build of infrastructure Maintain high morale and motivate team members to go above and beyond the minimum requirements Lead team to define infrastructure road maps and provide appropriate level of weekly and monthly status updates
- Work closely with IT Security to assure processes remain in line with maintaining PCI & SOX compliances
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 7 to 10 years of experience in Infrastructure Management of a diverse domestic & international topologies
- 7+ years of experience in designing, building, and operating infrastructure to support mission critical systems with a track record of delivering high availability (i.e., 99.999%)
- 7+ years of experience in building networking and security solutions for public facing web applications, multi-site data centers, and protecting highly confidential content.
- 7+ years of experience with designing, building, and operating solutions using virtualization using private / public cloud technologies
- 7+ years experience in designing, building, and operating mission critical database technologies including Microsoft SQL & Oracle, (Pervasive SQL a plus)
- 3+ years experience in designing, building, and operating Linux technologies5+ years experience with Citrix technologies and the infrastructure required to support delivering applications in a high availability environment
- Experience with Blue coat, Cisco, F5 and Juniper
- Experience with IBM Pureflex & XIV storage Experience with Data Center relocation
- Experience with Microsoft technologies: Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Lync and Microsoft Office Demonstrated project management skills combined with being a self starter Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills to establish vision, plans, and status with the ability to interact with Spirit executives, team members, and customers as needed.Understanding of ITIL
