- Performs PL/SQL development and will also be responsible for database administration
- Programming Language(s): PL/SQL, SQL; Oracle preferred but not necessarySoftware: Oracle DB platform 12g, Toad, PL/SQL developerInterfaces with customers to develop business requirements and develop them into implementable architecture and designs
- Creates operations and technical documentation for developed systems and applicationsUtilizes Oracle features and techniques where appropriate to develop robust, reliable and high-performance solutions
- Maintains awareness of new Oracle features and techniques and develops an understanding of how and where they can best be appliedPerforms quality assurance to include system, unit and user-acceptance test procedures
- Five years of experience in developing PL/SQL applications or an equivalent combination of education and work experience Solid understanding of Oracle stored procedures, packages and triggers
- Experience with all phases of Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentationAnalytical skills/thinkingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications
- BS Degree in related areaCertification(s): Oracle Advanced PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional, Oracle Database SQL Certified Expert, Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate is a plus Knowledge of Agile development methodology
