Role:Business Development Executive - Financial Services Loc:Atlanta, GA Charlotte, NC Responsibilities: â?¢ Qualifies leads with targeted prospects and referral sources. â?¢ Develops opportunities with qualified prospects and participates in determining the pursuit team make?up. â?¢ Develops and maintains a current working knowledge of the national DHG Financial Services practice and service lines. â?¢ Understands the current financial services environment and industry developments through attending conferences and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the industry in order to facilitate discussions to meet the evolving needs of financial services companies. â?¢ Represents the firmâ??s service offerings and co?develops a plan with prospects that aligns their business requirements with the firmâ??s capabilities. â?¢ Transfers sales knowledge and skills to DHG Financial Services client?serving professionals, principally partners and managers, across the firmâ??s footprint; assists the DHG Financial Services professionals with their business development activities. â?¢ Facilitates the sales process and related programs/protocol to support the firm reporting and fosters a business development culture. â?¢ Assists in managing the DHG Financial Services sales pipeline and ensures proper protocol for notifications and proposal development. â?¢ Collaborates effectively with DHG Financial Services members, as well as members of the various other geographic, industry and service?line practices, other Business Development Executives, and the marketing team. Job Requirements â?¢ Strong track record of sales, preferably in a professional services environment. â?¢ A professional network in the national financial services market, including contacts with prospective clients and referral sources is preferred. â?¢ Excellent communication skills (verbal and written, including facilitating and presenting). â?¢ Able to deal effectively with financial services leaders and different levels of management. â?¢ Demonstrated skill in all facets of sales process (prospect, nurture, follow?up, follow?through, negotiating and closing). â?¢ Proven ability to collaboratively team with highly credentialed service delivery professionals to nurture relationships and close sales (a team builder and leader). â?¢ Correspondent banking experience is a plus. â?¢ Professional, polished appearance and personable demeanor. â?¢ A positive and optimistic attitude, an energy giver. â?¢ Bachelorâ??s degree and 7+ years of sales experience. â?¢ Ability to travel as needed.
