You will be a part of a start-up like team based in Newport Beach that is passionate to do what is best for the users. We work hard, but can laugh at ourselves when we get too serious. We typically have free lunch once a week and happy hours once a month. What Youll Do? Translate high-level business requirements and user research into interaction flows, wireframes or prototypes to best convey the experience. Collaborate with the Product Managers to identify the ideal UX patterns, and best practices for a successful user outcome Actively participate in interdisciplinary group discussions of product design and development.? Help contribute to overall product strategy and roadmap. What We Need from You? Expert-level proficiency with UX design and prototyping software (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite, Invision, Axure, and/or Sketch) Expert knowledge in UX patterns and best practices Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively Experience with using qualitative and quantitative research to inform design solutions Enjoy explaining the reasons behind their design decisions Comfortable communicating and collaborating with UI designers, senior level software developers, and product managers Experience working in a product organization, driving products from conception and ideation through launch and beyond over multiple releases Analytical thinking with the ability to understand the overall vision.? Experience with adaptive/responsive web and mobile applications Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies (SCRUM).? General Requirements 7+ years of design experience Strong design portfolio with examples of well-thought out interaction and visual design across responsive web and mobile applications Bachelors degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Graphic Design or equivalent work experience Exceptional organizational and analytical skills Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
