Responsibilities:
Accurately scope and plan enterprise scale projects
Providing technical and architectural leadership for Microsoft .NET web applications
Build dynamic applications in an Agile environment
Creating project and application architecture deliverables that are consistent with architecture principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices
Reviewing and approving 3rd party and integration solution architecture
Working closely with Web/Infrastructure Technology teams on defining the deployment architecture
Play technical lead role on team
Contribute and execute improvements to Dev-Ops
Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatic testing
Qualifications:
12 years + experience as .Net developer including 5 years of experience architecting software solutions.
BS in Computer Science of software engineering discipline preferred.
Microsoft Certified Solution Developer Certification and related certification a plus
Proficient in C#.net, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
Familiarity with the .NET framework {3.5 and newer}
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
Experience using IoC and dependency injection containers
Experience utilizing ORM tools
Experience with ASP.net and MVC
Experience building and consuming WCF based web services. Exposure to the MS Azure and Azure service bus a plus
Skill for writing reusable C# libraries
Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with popular web application frameworks, such as Angular/ Bootstrap/ Material Design/ Wordpress
Knack for writing clean, readable C# code
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Fundamental understanding of DB design and normalization
Ability to creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
