Knowledge, Skills and Experience: 4+ years of SQL Server database administration and development. Experience with SQL Server 2014, 2012 and/or 2008 R2. Strong understanding of DBA best practices/strategies in areas of security, backup/recovery, configuration, capacity planning and monitoring. Strong knowledge of TSQL, SSIS and database/query tuning and optimization. Experience with SQL High-Availability and In-Memory OLTP a plus. Experience with Windows Server Clustering and SAN environments. Participate in off-hours on-call support rotation. Experience managing policies and procedures in a SOX environment. Prior involvement in high volume, e-commerce environment. Excellent understanding of software development methodologies. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong problem solving and decision making skills. Strong focus on creating high quality deliverables. Accuracy and strict adherance to deadlines. Focus on continual process improvement. Able to bring multiple, concurrent projects to successful completion. Easily adapts to changing priorities.
