Inventory Coordinator/Planner - Operations Loc: Saint Paul, MN

The Inventory Coordinator/Planner will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of facility operations relating to inventory control. Working closely with the operations team, you will work to provide inventory reporting, resolve scheduling issues, and develop support strategies to continuously improve the plants ability to reach production objectives. Your day to day duties will include: Keep an accurate log of raw materials and finished goods inventory using Dynamics AX software Report and resolve any inventory discrepancies Act as the supporting agent for ERP-Dynamics AX-Inventory Management, Scaling, and production Utilize inventory forecasting tolls to report actual and forecasted quantity volumes, inventory values, and market values Provide support to operational and cross-functional teams to create efficiencies in the supply chain, operation and sales planning processes Recommend opportunities and solutions to improve efficiency of logistics and product movement Manage the production inventory cycle count processes, transfers and transactions Oversee production/batch orders and calculate production numbers for daily and weekly production yield reports Follow standard operating procedures to ensure the flow of information throughout inventory and production processes Facilitate a daily plan for the Production Team to execute and fulfill customer requirements by partnering with Customer Service, Logistics, and the Sales Team to execute the production plan The right person for this role is a strong leader with experience in an industrial facility and the ability to monitor, manage and improve upon production/inventory processes. Were are seeking a motivated individual with the following qualifications: Possesses a 4-year degree or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in an industrial setting Proficiency in computer software (Microsoft Office and ERP) Ability produce accurate reports and solve inventory related issues Capable of handling a high volume environment while maintaining quality and punctuality Logical approach to troubleshooting issues by prioritizing production needs Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills Extremely detail-oriented Fast-learner, open minded and collaborative Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal/written) skills
