PRIMARY OBJECTIVES :

Contribute to closing sales and meeting revenue objectives.Maximize inventory efficiency for customers.Deliver accuracy, efficiency and innovation.Reduce configuration analysis time and turnaround.

Support the execution of key strategies/initiatives.Leverage data and develop solution recommendations to drive results.Provide a resource for sales program support and communications within the Company.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

  • Position serves as a sales support position for a national sales force to provide detailed product and solution recommendations thru data collection, data analysis for the configuration and layout design of inventory management solutions in a very diverse marketplace for the industrial supply chain market.
  • Includes pre-sale support including product and software understanding of all available solutions to a national sales team as directed by the MSDD and CRO.
  • Provides generalized product, software and application support and serves as a general resource of information regarding applications, product information, and software features and functionality.
  • Some customer facing activities will be required including in-person and web-based hardware and solution presentations and demonstrations.
  • Occasional on-site client/customer surveys may be required.Coordination of customer facing sales events and calendars with both internal and external resources.In-house product demonstrations and participation as directed by the MSDD or the CRO in customer facing meetings.
  • Work with technology to populate the key data / information in the configuration module of the Sales Order Management System (SOMS) engage in the work to create a logical and efficient process to manage the ongoing configuration with the SSDM and CRO.
  • Work with training resources as required to support introduction of training programs related to SOMs to re sellers and or additional programs that may be developed in support of hardware and software solutions. Maintain a strong understanding of Internal system and be a subject matter expert of the SOMS system to support the Sales organization and other internal resources.
  • Engage and facilitate the roll out and on-going understanding with the sales team to maximize the benefit of the SOMS sales tools, develop/conduct training, keep the sales team current and be a primary point person for SOMS sale support.
  • Work with selected re sellers as required periodically to incorporate SOMS into their business models.
  • Coordinate information flow to both Sales and provide customer insight back to HQ (specifically to inform marketing, technology, finance and operations for additional support material development).
  • Remain knowledgeable of key processes; sales initiatives and internal resources in order to assist the sales team accomplishing company goals.Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization order flow and process efforts to improve and shorten configuration, quoting and order turnaround time.


Processes & Efficiency:

- coordinate any changes in corporate systems with the sales force. Work with the MSDD to plan and implement and these changes to sales as required.
