Business Intelligence Analysis team is looking for a dynamic and motivated candidate for the position of Business Analyst. This role is an opportunity for a self-driven individual to utilize his or her business and technical acumen to manage as well as improve business processes and apply analytical skills to deliver creative, value-adding solutions to the BI team The position will have a direct role in client's Sales and company operations. Additionally, the position will work interdepartmentally to help create and drive strategic plans that enable the organization to scale efficiently. Responsibilities: Proactively identify business process improvements and ways to increase efficiency in the organization Leverage data, tools and process changes to deliver the desired results. This will include understanding and constantly gaining knowledge on the organizations processes as they evolve and change. Partner with department leaders to deliver stable and highly available reports, drive initiatives to completion and ensure that benefits are gained and maintained Maintain library of model documents, templates, or other reusable knowledge assets Create or review technical design documentation to ensure the accuracy of reporting solutions and process models Identify opportunities to develop; forecasts, statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data-driven analyses to drive marketing and sales efforts around customer acquisition and conversion Discover new opportunities to optimize the business through analytics and statistical modeling Improve and streamline processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value Proactively identify and subsequently find solutions for gaps in the sales and business process Work with team members to translate requirements into technical specifications Help identify and assess potential data sources Aid in the implementation and development of Business Intelligence best practices Communicate plans and progress with management on a regular basis Lead or participate in other projects or duties as assigned All other related duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Bachelors degree and 5-8 years experience required Strong Excel skills are essential with database experience a distinct advantage Experience in defining and executing data validation strategies Excellent data and BI analysis skills - detailed analysis and definitions of KPIs, measures, business logic and calculations, reporting requirements, etc. Proficient in MySQL other programming languages a plus Experience in business analysis, reporting, data mining, and ad hoc analysis Strong time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and handle the pressure of last minute requests with little to no supervision
