Role: SAP Business Systems Support Team Lead
Location: St. Louis, MO
Essential Functions
Provide first contact support to SAP users to resolve issues
Provide on-going user education for SAP system functionality in response to user inquiries
Coordinate with the SAP IT Team as needed to find resolution to SAP user problems
Perform routine master data set up tasks including tonnage/commodity tax rates, output configurations, and business tables
Work closely with the master data group responsible for the maintenance of customer and vendor master data
Coordinate with the SAP IT Team on requests for master data set up including new materials, plants, market regions, hierarchy changes, and discount table maintenance
Assist in leading testing activities for system enhancements and new releases including coordinating with the SAP IT Team and business power users
Assist in the development of scripts for using automated testing tools
Partner and liaison with the IT COE to ensure project management disciplines and participation for new SAP system implementations and conversions
Assist in the identification of business process standardization opportunities and promote the continued alignment of business and system processes
Participate and support in Kaizen events for process improvements as required
Work closely with IT to support the GTM Scholars Group
Assist in continuing education and training efforts by performing training for new locations and employees using SAP, participating in location visits, and developing documentation in coordination with SAP IT team promoting best practices, and efficient processes
Assist in the development, tracking and reporting of metrics designed to measure support calls and system problems to aid in development of plans to minimize support and improve system utilization
