Cloud Operations Engineer Job Location: South Brunswick, NJ Job Type: 12 Months + Required Skills: ? Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering Technology, or technical degree and/or certifications ? Experience with operational processes related to public cloud and virtualization technologies such as VMWare and KVM. ? Understanding of monitoring processes and application deployment process with open source tools such as kickstart, chef, puppet are a plus. ? Experience with processes related to deploying and operating Linux/Red Hat variants in a cloud environment ? Experience with processes related to deploying and operating Windows in a cloud environment ? Critical attention to detail, thoroughness and documentation ? Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly in documenting and teaching operational cloud processes ? Ability to work with minimal supervision, making decisions based upon priorities, schedules and an understanding of business initiatives. ? Ability to work as part of a team in building, administering, and deploying automated systems and application deployments especially in an enterprise environment Desired Skills: ? Understanding of a broad range of cloud technologies in an automated deployment environment including S3, EC2, EBS, VPC, and CloudHealth ? Experience with operational cloud processes related to public cloud providers (AWS, Google & Azure) ? Experience implementing and supporting enterprise system monitoring tools ? Experience in a DevOps environment
