Job Description Position: Tableau Developer (BI Specialist) Location: Ipswich, MA Duration: 3-4 months The Information Technology (IT) department is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist to work on our BI (Tableau) and Data Warehousing (DW) software and systems, including integration with databases and primary data sources. This includes integration with SAP data sources, supporting BI solutions to end users and executives, and ensuring high levels of BI availability through solution management and in-depth testing. Primary responsibilities: Automate process for an Executive Dashboard that currently is run manually on a monthly basis. Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems. There was a recent ERP conversion to SAP and there is data that needs to be integrated in with Tableau. Required Skills: Comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design experience, with full knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data modeling. Demonstrated competence with Tableau Server. Demonstrated ability with MS Windows, Unix variants and ETL tools. Strong ability to analyze user requirements and build front-end BI applications according to specifications. Ability to translate data results to management, i.e. a meaningful translation statistical and/or visualization results
