Role:Development, Senior (Tableau) Location:McLean, VA Enterprise Business Intelligence is seeking a Development, Senior to lead project delivery and production support for Tableau Reporting and other BI Analytical applications. Responsibilities Include Senior member of project teams leading design and development activities, standards, risk mitigation and issue resolution. Senior member of team that interacts with business teams and other stakeholders to establish a self-service BI model, define and develop reporting solutions to meet diverse, complex business needs. Recommends changes to policies and established procedures that affect immediate organization\'s success. Manages and tracks action items, issues, and risks associated with a suite of applications. Follow up on items with appropriate parties to ensure their resolution and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion. Partners with Architecture Services to develop Reference Architectures, Patterns and Roadmaps for BI/Analytics. Establish and maintain design and development best practices. Defines and develops strategy for the roll out of new features of the Tableau tool and version upgrades. Provide proactive production support for Tableau and other BI/Analytics applications. This includes monitoring usage patterns and recommending improvements. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired. Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant IT related experience Tableau Desktop and Server Certified Professional Minimum 5 years of current and hands-on experience with Tableau tool and demonstrated expertise with complex data visualizations and Data modelling Experience with all features of Tableau - Data Sources, Extracts, Variety of Data Visualizations, User Security and Server Administration Minimum 7 years of current and hands-on experience with SQL and various Relational and NoSQL databases Experience with analysis of various source data formats - XML, JSON, CSV etc., Demonstrated experience delivering solutions to stringent SLAs for report performance. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines Demonstrated partnership with business clients and value proposition of projects/portfolio Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong customer service skills Experience working with dedicated and matrixed resources Ability to establish / build cross divisional relationships / collaboration Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and Sr. management on both the business and IT sides. Preferred Skills Experience as a Tableau consultant Understanding of the secondary mortgage industry.
