Principle accountabilities include: Become the Grass Valley technical lead for BI utilizing SAP B/W and M/S SSRS reporting. Lead the configuration of standard and custom SAP BW and Epicor data cubes. Assist in the creation of process flows, use cases, requirements, and/or functional specs. Define and document data interfaces, data conversions, info objects, info sources, and report designs. Effectively interact with the business community to gather/develop functional and technical requirements and translate the requirements into robust analytics and reporting solutions. Developing and maintaining an ongoing relationship with business owners and other correspondents, building priorities, and developing and implementing an on-going end-user training and outreach program to enhance user understanding of BI tools. Develop and maintain standards and policies for end-user production support and on-going quality control. Provide leadership and mentoring to Grass Valley BI community. · Work with desktop support staff on deployment of necessary end user software. · Other duties as assigned. Desired Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent Have a strong understanding of dimensional modeling and leading full-lifecycle Business Intelligence projects/applications. Mastery level of knowledge with BW (BW data objects including Info objects, InfoSources, Transfer/Update Rules, ODS, InfoProviders, MultiProviders), BW Extractors from the R/3 system, and working knowledge of SAP structures, object dependencies and tables in R/3 version 4.7 environments. Experience with and understanding of BW and Epicor excel-based reporting design and development, BW and SSRS web reporting Education or direct work experience with Microsoft SQL database and/or reporting solutions Knowledge of SFDC administration and maintenance and/or SFDC Administrator certification desireable
