Role: EDI Business Analyst/Developer Location: Fort Mill,SC The EDI Business Analyst is responsible for collaborating with internal/external customers, business units, and other IT groups to identify requirements, assess available technologies, and translate requirements into solutions. Must be thoroughly familiar with the SAP ABAP/4 coding of user exits and executable programs, EDI/ALE/IDOC, SAP Workflow configuration, IDOC configuration, BAPIs and RFCs. Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD processes. Needs to be familiar of the EDI translator processes and EDI standard formats. Must have the ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize appropriately. This role is accountable for providing day¬to¬day support to the business as needed. This includes resolving trouble tickets, providing technical solutions, and analyzing and completing EDI requests on time and with high quality. Will also develop best business practice knowledge, and support the business in integrating this into the EDI solutions. The incumbent is required to have the ability to work under pressure, and handle multiple tasks. Qualified candidates must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written as well as proven leadership skills providing both technical and functional direction. Having strong business understanding with IT technical background. Knowledgeable of SD module (orders, deliveries, shipments, scheduling agreements and quotations) is a must. SAP Development for new EDI requests and enhancements, which may include writing function modules for user exits, writing executable programs, creating new tables or updating configuration. Support existing EDI applications on a daily basis researching and fixing production issues in a timely manner, collaborating with business and EDI translator developer preventing interruption to business processes; on call after hours support as necessary.
