Role:Embedded Software Design Engineer Loc:Greater St. Louis Area
Essential Job Function:
- Work with senior software engineering personnel to develop new embedded software solutions for electric motor control projects. Perform the following day-to-day tasks:
- Develop embedded code for assigned projects
Test and verify the functionality of embedded code
Work with application engineers to verify the operation of motor controls in end customer applications
Develop PC programs to support the testing and operation of electric motor controls - Previous Experience/Skill Requirements:
Previous embedded code development experience is required
Experience and classes in motor control theory is required
Previous experience with the tools from Matlab is a plus
Previous experience with PC programming using the Visual Studio tools is a plus
Educational Requirements:
- A BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar field is required
- An advanced degree in a similar field is a plus
- Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
