Embedded Programmer Loc:
- Webster, TXPrinciple Responsibilities will be:Perform microcontroller based firmware development and maintenance in C/C++ for 1st Detectâ??s line of mass spectrometer products.
- Generate documentation relating to firmware and interfacesWork with engineers and scientists to implement new features and capability within the firmwareInterface with software engineers to modify or expand the communication content between the instrument control software and the embedded softwareRequired
- Bachelors degree and at least 5 years experience (10-15 preferred) in embedded programmingAbility to perform firmware architecture design for microcontroller systems in C or C++Must have proficiency in relevant engineering tools (configuration management systems, build processes, debuggers, emulators, simulators and logic analyzers). ???Candidates with equivalent experience will also be considered without credentials
