The following core skills are required for success in this position: 
8 to 10 years of experience in delivering leading edge interactive software
Understanding of web technologies and responsive UI development
Experience in development of scalable / high performing data access middleware
Industry leading expertise in Java with hands on experience in Java8 programming
Strong knowledge about SQL and Oracle DB performance tuning, SP, Function.
Expertise in Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Spring JDBC, Spring AOP, Spring Rest WS.
Knowledge of JASPER reporting tool, JQuery, Node.js,
Experience in API implementations (REST) for distributed service based architectures
Experience working within a truly agile development team
The ideal candidate will also have the following skills and experience: 
Understanding of gitlab, bootstrap, bower, grunt and related development/deployment tools
Good to have experience in UI development using Angular JS
Understanding of Linux command line and shell scripts will be an added advantage
Developing within a Jenkins continuous deployment environment (CI and CD)
Exposure to asynchronous programming, and web sockets
