Job description Manage the departmental managers who in turn supervise department personnel of the facility. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the facility. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Review prod orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan facility operations. Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications. Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and delivery problems. Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes managers to ensure compliance with standards. Responsible for the overall morale of the facility.
