Job description
The IT Security Director manages the development and delivery of IT security standards, best practices, architecture and systems to ensure information security for all of stakeholders.
What You Need To Know
- Builds and manages a strategic and comprehensive information security posture that defines, develops, maintains, and implements policies and processes that enables effective information security practices
- Responsible for IT security operations, vulnerability management and cyber threat intelligence
- Works closely with the Compliance Department to ensure alignment between security and compliance programs
- Ensures organization has audit controls to monitor activity on electronic systems that contain or use protected information
- Serves as information security consultant to all departments for all data security related issues
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in managing and supervising multiple IT security programs/projects simultaneously
- 5+ years of experience in providing IT security subject matter expertise at an enterprise level or for corporate clients
- Certifications in ISO, PCI, SOX, NIST, and/or other industry regulatory and compliance framework
- Technical certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or ability to obtain
