Job description

  • Is a leading global provider of high-quality, orthopedic devices, with a broad range of products used for rehabilitation, pain management and physical therapy.
  • We also develop, manufacture and distribute a broad range of surgical reconstructive implant products.
  • We are currently seeking an outstanding Financial Analyst - Global Operations at our Corporate Headquarters in Vista, CA.
Essential Job Functions

  • Perform month end close activities related to Distribution, Freight and Inventory.
  • Assist in preparation of annual operating plan (budget) and monthly forecasts.
  • Prepare actual vs plan (budget) analysis.
  • Prepare various financial analysis related to manufacturing costs, inventory, and expense information for various customers as needed for decision making support.
  • Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with Distribution functions and inventory valuation worldwide.
  • Insure validity and accuracy of ERP through analysis, internal audit, and coordination with manufacturing on production and work order processing.
  • Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures, including system requirements and internal controls.
  • Represent Finance/Accounting on teams designed to improve operations, reduce costs, etc. (Kaizen Blitzes, system conversions, etc.)
  • Assist in the quarterly and annual financial audits (compiling and preparing cost data for support of schedules and questions.)Assist with physical counts and cycle counts of inventories & fixed assets.
EDUCATION

  • Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience required; CPA or CMA preferred
Experience

  • Five to eight years of accounting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Must possess strong presentation and communication skills, and advanced skills in Access, Excel and Word.
  • Intermediate Hyperion experience and 1-2 years of Oracle experience are required.
