- Develop custom software solutions which meet the functional and information requirements of the user community
- Maintain and support existing application systems and programs
- Integrate third-party software applications with in the existing application environment
- Develop and ensure User Experience (UX) and UserInterface (UI) standards
- Develop technical and user documentation for custom applications and programs
- Develop and execute quality assurance test plans
- Develop new technical skills, business knowledge, and process designs
- Guide and teach web application development standards
- Complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support
- Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines
- Ability to communicate clearly with business users and project manager
- Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces
- Ability to construct user guides and documentation
- Working experience with Content Management Systems
- Ensures HTML/CSS is cross-browser and standards compliant and meets accessibility/disability requirements
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing web-based applications using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Experience with jQuery, HTML 5, CSS 3, and responsive web design is preferred
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET framework, including ASP.NET, MVC, and WCF
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing database-driven applications using Microsoft SQL Server and ADO.NET
- The ability to configure and administer anIIS based website and a Microsoft web server
- Experience developing for SharePoint is preferred
- Experience designing or developing mobile applications for iOS and/or Android is a plus
- Must have strong communication, problem-solving,and teamwork skills
- Must be an independent learner, have an avid interest in new technology, and have a demonstrated passion for keeping abreast of current technology
- BS in Computer Science or related field is preferred
