Responsibilities:

Follow standard SDLC processes, from requirements gathering, functional design, technical design, system testing, integration testing, deployment and support as they relate to data warehouse projects and enterprise data integration efforts.
Engage closely with business analysts and report developers to determine business needs and provide expertise to deliver extract, transform and load process solutions.
Support and maintain data warehouse and operational data store environments with proactive approach towards upgrades and performance enhancements to improve report and dashboard user experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve DW and ODS data load job and related scheduler issues.
Create and maintain data dictionary, source-target mapping, data lineage and DW and ODS operational documentation.
Work closely with system and business owners on data quality initiatives.
Understand all components in the data movement lifecycle, including data source interrogation, interface types, network infrastructure and impact, tool design and data processing methods.
Carefully track and document solutions for ETL and data integration requests through change management ticketing system.
Drives discussion and challenges business units on innovative ways to successfully utilize data and available tools to advance business objectives.
Pilot and provide proof-of-concept solutions around next-generation business intelligence and analytics tools, specifically in the ETL and data integration space.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years experience working with Finance, Operations, Marketing, Sales and HR teams, from an end-to-end ETL and data integration development perspective.
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience writing ETL and data integration code using related toolsets (i.e. SSIS, Informatica, ODI, DataStage, etc.).
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience writing stored procedures (T-SQL, PL/SQL) or complex queries in relational databases (SQL Server 2008+ and/or Oracle 10g+).
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience writing ETL and data integration processes in an enterprise data warehousing environment.
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience developing dimensional and relational data models.
Experience with middleware technologies is a plus.
Experience with TM1 Turbo Integrator is a plus.
Experience developing solutions in the travel and hospitality industry is a plus.
Demonstrate core customer service behaviors as a trusted IT advisor to the business.

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours, as needed, given tight project deadlines.
Ability to communicate status, issues, designs and plans to managers, peers and business partners.

Bachelors degree required, preferably in Management of Information Systems or Computer Science.
