SQL Developer Lancaster, PA 12+ Months Requirements : In the Database Development role, the DBA will collaborate with other IT departments, Business Relationship Managers (BRMs), Business Analysts (BAs) and clients within the business and operations units of the Bank to design, develop, test, deliver and maintain database applications that support the clients business. This includes support for the Data Warehouse. With large projects, the DBA may coordinate the work of other DBAs or Associate DBAs. In all projects, the DBA will be engaged in the entire database development process, from inception through delivery. · Estimate the level of effort, resource needs and project duration for new requests. · Work with business requestors, BAs and BRMs to refine the business requirements and ensure that sufficient detail is provided to guide design, development and testing. · Design, develop, test and implement SSIS packages related to the extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) process for database applications, in accordance with established standards · Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code. · Package and support deployment of releases. QUALIFICATIONS · 3 or more years experience in roles of progressively increasing responsibility in database development and/or database administration. · A track record of successful implementations of database applications in Microsoft SQL/Server environments (Oracle environments also desirable). · Strong knowledge and experience with deploying database-specific technologies and techniques: o InformEnt (KnowledgeShare, PowerShare, Warehouse Architect, Toad, etc.) o SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, o DDL, DML, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, o Proficiency in Oracle, PL/SQL · Database design/development experience using Microsoft SQL Server, including: DDL/DML, stored procedures, triggers, DTS or SSIS, SQL Agent. · Demonstrated experience and solid knowledge in three or more of the following areas: SOX/FFIEC-Compliant Database Development , Security, Architecture, Analysis, Design, Testing, Documentation, Implementation, Version Control, Change Management. · B.S. degree strongly preferred. · Certified Data Management Professional certification or similar professional certification in database management technology is an asset.
