Database Administrator/DeveloperScope of Position?The Database Administrator/Developer will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance and support within corporate, development and field operations databases. The databases includes but are not limited to PI system, SCADA system, pipelines, SharePoint, power price modeling, monitoring energy production, Esri ArcGIS, land management, and data warehouses. The Database administrator/Developer will develop and maintain ETL programs, data cubes and complex queries. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter Database Administrator/Developer. Desired candidate must have excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analytical skills. Reports to: Manager, Database & Business IntelligenceDivision/Department: Information TechnologyLocation: San Diego, CAClassification: ExemptWorking Conditions?85% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers, servers, peripherals, phones, and general office equipment. 15% of the time is spent traveling to other client sites in the US, Canada and Mexico.
Responsibilities?�????�???�??�?�¢?�????�???�??�?�¢ Database administration of SQL Servers including planning, installation, configuration, upgrades and migration of databases.�????�???�??�?�¢?�????�???�??�?�¢ Hands on experience in Microsoft SQL 2008 R2, SQL 2012 and SQL 2014 technologies.�????�???�??�?�¢?�????�???�??�?�¢ Expertise in developing and maintaining reusable programs using SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Service (SSAS) and SQL statements.�????�???�??�?�¢?�????�???�??�?�¢ Database design, modeling and implementation.�????�???�??�?�¢?�????�???�??�?�¢ Implement and maintain database security and user access applying principle of least privilege. �????�???�??�?�¢?�????�???�??�?�¢ Analyze and tune databases and SQL Queries for optimal performance�????�???�??�?�¢?�????�???�??�?�¢ Data warehouse design and implementation�????�???�??�?�¢?�????�???�??�?�¢ Develop and maintain data extraction, transformation and load programs.�????�???�??�?�¢?�????�???�??�?�¢ Implement and maintain SQL Server clustering, mirroring, replication and failover. �????�???�??�?�¢?�????�???�??�?�¢ Implement and maintain database backups. Verify and perform database restore as appropriate.
