Job Description:

• Would be more JSP, Angular would be a plus, but not a must have
• Project - PTC Onboard systems These are systems which reside on or support those systems that reside on the Locomotives for Positive Train Control

Soft Skills:

• Very much prefer someone with PTC knowledge and / or prior tools / environment knowledge
• Prior railroad knowledge is a big plus
• Agile experience. Listed as Java, but would be stronger still if they have Java & Python skills.
• Responsible for analysis, design, coding and testing of new applications or enhancements to existing applications using Java-based technologies, including Java, J2EE, JSP, XML, JDBC, and Servlets.

Required Skills:

• Must be able to apply SDLC concept and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications.
• Must have a solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming.
• Strong communication skills are required as position will interact with business owners.6+ years of prior Java development experience required.
