Bigdata Enterprise Architect
Job Description:
Role Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant equivalent.
- At least 8 years of experience evolving Big Data ecosystems with hands on experience as a data engineer or DBA.
- Minimum 5 years as a Data Architect with thought leadership experience building product roadmaps, influencing stakeholders and delivering to measurable outcomes.
- Working technical knowledge and experience with data science and machine learning (e.g, heuristic and predictive analytics), Big Data (e.g., data lakes, containers), MDM, MDG, and data operations. Solid understanding of data ingestion, harmonization, containment, curation, and analytics is key.
- Experience and working knowledge of enterprise tools, MDM, and Big Data products like Informatica, SAP SAC, Oracle, Tableau, Salesforce, etc. PaaS and DaaS knowledge is key.
- Solid knowledge and experience with enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF.
- Resilient and dependable thought Leader with high EQ and excellent listening skills. Proactive, methodical, independent, and well-organized team member that can clearly articulate technical concepts to non-experts.
- Strong business and technical acumen with a bias towards incremental change and measurable business outcomes.
- Cloud computing experience using GCP, Amazon, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or any combination of at least 2. Enterprise Architecture experience
- Collaborative team member that knows how to capture, publish, communicate, and influence standards and best practices.
- Strong critical thinking skills with bias towards business KPIs like:
- Cost Leadership (reducing TCO, increasing profitability or revenues)
- Customer satisfaction and intimacy
- Operational discipline and effectiveness (reduce risk or increase productivity)
- Product/service differentiation
