Qualifications

• The successful candidate should have advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• A motivated individual with strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills is essential
• This position is part of a job family with multiple grade levels
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Two (2) years of related experience
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend effective solutions
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills such as pivot tables and vlookups
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• The Accountant/Advanced Accountant - SAP Accounting Systems Support is primarily responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the of Business Intelligence Reports
• This can include performing data analysis and troubleshooting issues as well as handling questions from the Controllers organization and the operating groups that use the reports
• Support reporting applications including Business Objects (Analysis for Excel and WebIntelligence) and Business Warehouse
• Serve as a liaison between IT and business to create new solutions or modify existing reports to support business requirements and break/fix work
• Analyze business requirements to determine appropriate solutions
• Regression test system changes due to support packs and enhancements
• Researches and troubleshoots issues across multiple sources using knowledge of data and system functionality
• Identifies efficiencies and recommends ways to improve and automate processes and procedures
• Complete other duties including special projects as required
