Job Description :

Executes highly complex functionalwork tracks for the team.  Drives the execution of operational/technicalobjectives for business solutions using Java and Hadoop skills.

Partners closely with peers in thedepartment to ensure holistic Big Data solutions for data science community andanalytic users.

Identifies new areas of data,research and Big Data technology that can solve business problems

Develops technical solutions usingBig Data techniques in data & analytics processes.

Develops and buildsframeworks/prototypes that integrate Java, Big Data and advanced analytics tomake business decisions.

Implements new areas of Big Datatechnologies, (ingestion, processing, distribution) and research deliverymethods that can solve business problems.

Understands the Big Data relatedproblems and requirements to identify the optimal technical approach.

Primary Skills:

a. Experience in Databasetechnologies & sound experience in handling & working with data.

b. Should be conversant with OOPsconcepts , Java technologies, interfaces , Spring framework / other frameworks

c. Should have good awareness of Linux/ Unix technology and should be comfortable using commandline as well ascomplex Linux activities (Linux configurations)

d. Should have good knowledge aboutoperating Systems, networking , filesystem , database

e. Experience on any of the Hadooptechnologies is an added plus.

f. Experience on NOSQL databaseslike MongoDB, HDFS also an added plus.

g. Experience in Hadoop Eco systemcomponents like Sqoop / Flume / Talend - BigData / Hive (any of them)

h. Experience in Data transformationusing Hadoop Map Reduce
