Job Title: Software Engineer/ Senior Bigdata/Spark Developer

Loc: Redmond WA

Job Duration: 18 Months
Contract Type: Non- Managed / T&M (need to have a 6 months break if last project is with Microsoft)

Job Description:

Looking for developers with Master’s degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields with 3 plus years of experience and with skills in SPARK, HIVE and other Big Data tools.

Skills:

• Proven experience working with big data technologies like HDFS, Spark, Sqoop, Flume, Hive, and  MapReduce
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data acquisition, data ingestion, processing structured and un-structured data using Hadoop, Kafka, Spark and Microsoft Azure
• Proficient in SQL Server 2014, 2016
• Minimum  2 years of extensive experience in  Apache Spark and must have worked on real time data processing using Spark, Spark Streaming, Spark SQL
• Proficient in Scala and Python
• Familiarity with Hive internals and design
• Experience in HIVE and HBase

Good To Have Skills and Experience:

• Good to have Java coding experience
