Job description PRIMARY FUNCTION** : The Logistics Manager plans, directs, and coordinates the purchasing, warehousing, distribution and forecasting of aircraft parts, equipment and related services. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** Analyze and coordinate the logistical functions of this contract. Responsibilities address the life cycle of products, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal. Manage logistics personnel and logistics systems and direct daily operations. Monitor organizational compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations. Manage Government equipment and inventory assigned to the contract. Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven track record of completing projects on schedule, within budget, with satisfied customers. The Logistics Manager may be required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. Oversees ITAR & export control compliance for international shipping/receiving **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** This position has direct reports and supervises employees on daily tasks. This position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.
