SAP Business Objects Reporting Analyst loc:Nashville, TN
- Work directly with internal customers to develop more efficient processes and ways to use Business Intelligence applications.
- Provide assistance and information to users, IT staff, and general management on issues such as planning, scheduling, and using reporting system production capabilities.
- Maintain system and application documentation for assigned systems and/or projects.

Pprovide training to end-users on BI applications software.
- Run queries and reports to extract data for various analysis purposes.
- Develop and maintain ad hoc reports.
- Work with IT staff and internal customers to identify and correct problem conditions, including QA testing.
- Troubleshoot Business Intelligence system production issues and develop effective solutions.
- Develop and document test plans, new procedures, training, and communications for end-users.
- Assist in project management tasks to implement new BI applications or functionality, including use of MS Project.
- Coordinate with business units and technical staff on IT projects.
- Interface with vendors and internal customers as appropriate.
- Assist in the design, development, testing, implementation and troubleshooting of BI reporting applications.
- Evaluate and assist in the development of detailed requirements for projects.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with all audit and SOX initiatives.
- May perform daily maintenance of user security requests to the application.
- Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience and working knowledge of major components of SAP Business Objects platform to include BI Launch Pad and Central Management Console
- Advanced skills in the development of SAP BOBJ Web Intelligence reports
- Advanced skills in the development of SAP BOBJ Dashboards
- Experienced in the development of SAP BOBJ Crystal reports
- Knowledge of SAP Explorer a plus
- Knowledge of SAP Business Warehouse (BW) standard data sources
- Working knowledge of current systems analysis and design methods
- Working knowledge of the applications supported
- Working knowledge of the business areas supported, HR experience a plus
- Strong project and team-based skills
- Strong customer-service skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Effective PC skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, NetMeeting, Visio, MS Project etc.)
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies
- Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of LP staff
Experience:
- 3 to 7 years demonstrated reporting analyst experience
- Or any combination of education, experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position
