Responsibilities:
- The daily responsibilities of the Web Applications Developer include the following
- Providing production support Being part of on-call rotation Application Installation and Configuration Debugging, troubleshooting & root cause analysis of production issues
- Coordination of performance and stability fixes with Development Team Change management & Deployment of Application Updates
- Performance and availability monitoring Maintenance of associated standards & procedure documentation
- More than 4 years of JBoss Application Administration Experience.
- Strong Troubleshooting Skills Experience working with clustered applications Good working experience with MS SQL database platforms
- Strong experience in application security Strong Verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Java development and ability to understand Java stack traces
- Ability to read and understand application log files Experience with Windows Server administration
- Solid self-motivated team player Thorough understanding of Nagios and JVM monitoring systems Scripting and Automation skills Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Red Hat Certified JBoss Administration a plus MCSE certification is a plus
