  • Job descriptionThe Director of Data Integration and Analytics is responsible for leading a team by establishing and executing a vision for the delivery of information, forecasting, analytics and data integration platforms and solutions to the business\'s key stakeholders.
  • Effectively plan and manage data integration and analytic application projects including but not limited to:
  • Architect division focused data warehouse and data mart structures and provide tools and consultative guidance to help business users self-serve
  • Collaborate with business partners to architect and design an analytics and reporting self-serve platform
  • Support team to design and enhance data integration models to support Master Data Management and Application data workflow
  • Scope, plan and manage business intelligence application projects including dashboard enhancements.
  • participate in various business improvement activities and deep-dive initiatives adding insight where predictive analytics are required to forecast impact/results.
  • Identify and resolve issues that influence the progress of specific projects and ensure that risks are resolved or triaged for resolution.
  • Support the team in developing test plans and driving resolution of issues with new and existing platforms and solutions.
  • Assist in improving the Stericycle software development lifecycle process and ensure adherence to the SDLC and quality processes, standards and methodology for all releases.
  • Work closely with corporate BI team on long-term BI, Reporting & Analytics strategy.
  • Data Model Architecture - Set up experimental designs to answer business questions and opportunities.
  • Determine and execute data refresh cadence in alignment with organizational strategies.
  • Continuously measure model effectiveness and performance against business KPIs. Regularly conduct data validations to ensure models remain relevant.
  • Predictive analytics - Test business hypotheses across various departments to construct predictive models.
  • Work in cross functional team to identify new hypotheses. Test sensitivity/impact of current and proposed business initiatives on various customer segments
  • Manage key milestones and deliverables of day-to-day Development, Quality Assurance, Application Architecture, Business Intelligence, Data Management and Database Administration.
  • Work with VP of Information Technology, senior management, key business users, and customers to translate short and long term business needs into workable enterprise system solutions that scale in a high-growth business environment.
  • Set metrics that focus on the Data Science and Analytics team on being even more responsive to customer needs, improving quality of software deployments, improving the efficiency of our employees, and increasing the stability and scalability of our Production systems.
  • Manage career development and training needs of the Data Science and Analytics team to enable leaders to emerge to meet Stericycle's evolving business and IT needs.
  • Performs other related duties as required or requested.
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or other related discipline or the equivalent in related work experience with demonstrated experience delivering data integration, analytics and business intelligence solutions.
  • Ten or more years of IT Management experience, leading small to mid-size teams in complex, fast-moving business environments to achieve measureable results.
  • Seven or more years of database development experience, including database design, implementation and optimization, system integration (ETL/ELT) Where at least 2 of these have been leading projects teams in these efforts.
  • Experience in agile software methodologies with a solid understanding of how to transition from waterfall to agile.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, Microsoft Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server (TFS).
  • Experience with predictive modeling, or machine learning skills is a plus.
