Business Analyst

Location: Englewood, CO

Key responsibilities:

·         Work with business leaders across eCommerce to understand analysis requirements

·         Analyze eCommerce and traditional business performance results and metrics

·         Deliver results via written reports or ad hoc presentations

·         Construct scripts, workflows and dashboards for on-going analyses

Education Requirements:

BA in a quantitative field

Required Experience and Skills:

·         1-3 y previous experience in a business analyst role

·         Demonstrated data-wrangling abilities

·         Experience working with both traditional and ecommerce business metrics

·         Intermediate to advanced SQL development skills

·         A minimum of 1 y in a SQL development role

·         Proficient with Google Analytics,  microstrategy, crystal reports or another BI suite

·         Proficient with at least one ERP
Comfortable working with a command line interface

·         Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint

·         Proficient with Linux, OS X, and Windows

·         Introductory statistics knowledge

Bonus points for:

·         Masters in a quantitative field

·         Experience in a DaaS or IT consulting role

·         Hive or Impala experience

·         HDFS knowledge and experience

·         Experience with Tableau, Qlikview/Qliksense, or other visualization suite

·         Knowledge and experience  with python, bash, R, JavaScript, PHP, MatLab, et al. Key Skills:
