Role: EDI DEVELOPER Loc: Seattle, WA Full Time: Remote Minimum Qualifications: Bachelorâ??s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum 5 years of EDI experience. Minimum 3 years of networking experience. Minimum 5 years of application development experience using Gentran Integration Suite or IBM Sterling Integrator 5.x. Expert knowledge of EDI transactions, XML, XPath, BPML, XSLT, XML Schemas. XML including XPath, DTDs, and XSchema for Data Mapping and Process Models. Working experience with X12 EDI Standards (837(I,P,D), 834, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 850, EFT, 999) and with Communication Protocols (FTP, FTPS, SFTP, HTTP/S, AS2, AS3, VAN, MQ, WSDL). Familiarity with SQL and Oracle 11g database. Experience transforming data between formats: ANSI X12, XML, delimited or fixed-format files. Operating System skills in Unix, Linux, and Windows. PGP-encryption, SSH, SSL setup and configuration. Experience with object-oriented analysis and design techniques including Use Case analysis, object modeling, and databases. Exceptional analytical and problem resolution skills; ability to exercise independent, sound judgment. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with customers, vendors and remote staff for requirements gathering, development, testing and implementation of processes. Exhibits a high level of integrity while focusing on exceptional client service and best practices. A team player who engages others and focuses on shared goals, with the ability to optimize the use of all available resources and deliver on multiple priorities.
