Job description:

Designs, develops, and maintains business application solutions by creating new or modifying existingsoftware applications. Analyzes user requirements,procedures, and problems to automate, enhance, and/or optimize businessfunctions using Microsoft C# .Net, SQL Server, andMicrosoft Web Technologies.
Responsibilities:
* Design and developobject-oriented web and desktop applications usingrelational databases in a Microsoft C# .Net environment
* Design and Develop data models andrelational databases to store application data
* Advanced SQL Reporting ServicesReport creation and customization
* Leverage source control softwareto ensure best practices for code check out and change tracking
* Quality Assurance and Testing of application software
* Creating use cases and developfunctional documentation for projects and system enhancements included detailedtraining materials
* Work with various inventory andpricing models to create custom applications
Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree in ComputerScience, Information Science or related field preferred
* 3+ years object orientedprogramming experience especially with Microsoft technologies including strongVisual Studio, C# 2.0 - 3.5 ,ASP.NET 2.0-3.5, ADO.NET,LINQ and SQL Server 2005/2008
* 5+ years experience indefining and analyzing business requirements, process modeling, functionalsystems design or configuration and/or acceptance testing
* 3D Programming (DirectX) andObject Oriented architectures
* Experience with code sourcecontrol software, Source Safe, MS Team Foundation, Subversion
* 1+ years Window PresentationFoundation (WPF) programming experience
* 2+ years Windows Formsprogramming experience
* Client-Server and N-tier application development experience
* 2+ years Database design,normalization, and performance tuning experience
* Ability to work independently andsolve problems
* Strong communication,documentation and organizational skills
* Experience in a range ofprogramming technologies, practices, and tools
* Ability to learn on the fly, toevolve with changes in technology
* Experience workingwithin/adhering to formal development methodologies
* Extensive experience writingbusiness applications and developing reusable components
* Exceptional understanding ofClient-Server concepts and related challenges
* 1+ years experience in bestpractices User Interface design/presentation of data to end users
* Heavy attention to detail; broadpicture view as well
* Well-versed in common Microsoftdesktop programs including Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
