Specific Responsibilities Business Area Support Develop a sound knowledge of the assigned functional area(s) of the company. Analysis and Design Lead BI design and architecture based on requirements gathered from business users. Participate as a lead or one of the lead contributors to the logical and physical design of projects for the data warehouse, to include relational and OLAP environments. Analyze and design moderate to complex applications with limited work direction. Ensure high quality applications in the areas of reliability, ease of use, maintainability and performance. Participate in overall solution design of system being implemented to support the Recovery Sciences\\ business. Program Design, Programming and Documentation Develop specifications for moderately complex programs. Code and test program modifications. Test and prepare programs for implementation to production. Prepare technical documentation of ETL sub-systems Implementation, Training and Ongoing Support Ensure high quality and timely implementation of system changes. Direct system users in the proper utilization of the system when requested. Troubleshoot and resolve difficult system problems. Requirements: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: + years experience in information systems or related field Bachelor\\s degree or equivalent experience -3 years of solid experience with SQL scripting and T-SQL programming with SQL Server data warehouse environments. -3 years of solid business intelligence analyst experience working with data warehouse concepts, designing and modeling. -3 years of solid use of MS Excel for data analysis and validation. Highly proficient communication skills related to gathering and documenting requirements and presenting information to different levels of professionals. Excellent ability to work collaboratively and independently with other business intelligence, IT, and business professionals. Some independent work will include working closely with business users and recommending solutions for automation opportunities. Experience providing solution designs that integrate other systems and business intelligence. Experience integrating data across MS Office applications, to include MS Access and MS Excel. Willingness to learn other business intelligence reporting tools. Must be available to work outside normal business hours on periodic support and an emergency basis. Preferred Qualifications Experience and desire for developing in Microsoft (MS) Business Intelligence technology with the MS Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS), to include SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is desirable. Experience and familiarity with SQL Server DBA tasks is desirable. Experience and familiarity with Oracle SQLPlus is desirable. Experience and familiarity with Tableau is desirable. Experience and familiarity with saleforce.com is desirable. Experience and familiarity with Syncsort/DMExpress is desirable. Working knowledge of medical device manufacturing or healthcare industry is desirable.
