Job Description

• This position provides front line response and consultation to Associates and Management related to Payroll Processing, policy interpretation and Kronos Time and Attendance.
• Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this position will assist in payroll functions to ensure timely and accurate
• Bi-weekly payroll processing for all Hospital and related entities. Provides excellent service to internal and external customers. Maintains the confidentiality of all Payroll and HR data.
  

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in Payroll department or in a customer service environment.
• Preferred/Desired: Minimum 3 years experience in Payroll with Lawson Payroll Applications.
• Experience with KRONOS Time and Attendance Systems.
  

Education

High School Diploma. Payroll experience.

Training & Special Skills

• Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards; care with sensitivity and respect; advance care through development of new ideas and technology; promote teamwork to achieve mission; and understand and exceed customer expectations.
• Proficient use of 10-key calculator.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work in a fast-paced environment, and able to meet short deadlines.
• Ability to deal tactfully with challenging customers, pay attention to detail, and follow through on all projects and tasks.
• Preferred/Desired: Intermediate knowledge or Lawson and Kronos Time and Attendance.
