Plant Maintenance Manager in Dallas, TX This position will be responsible for the overall managing and leadership of the maintenance team and maintenance processes of the manufacturing plant located in Dallas, TX. RESPONSIBILITIES • Manage and direct all of the maintenance technical team to ensure that production maintenance requirements are met consistently. • Ensures the Plant safety program is being maintained. • Foster a climate of engagement and mutual appreciation between managers and hourly associates. • Create a culture that is proactive, focused on continuous improvement and always driven for results. • Develop on –going plans to ensure technicians are adequately trained on the various equipment on site. • Actively pursue opportunities that will improve clients cost position. DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s degree • 7 years + of experience managing a team of maintenance technicians/mechanics. • Experience maintaining packaging machines and compounding mixers in a 24x7 manufacturing plant. • Very strong verbal & written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate one-on-one and in team / group settings. • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint , Word and maintenance related software. • Strong interpersonal, organizational, coaching and analytical skills • Foster a climate of engagement, teamwork and mutual appreciation between the maintenance and all other Plant associates.
